The internal network being used for communication between the compute nodes uses a Cisco Catalyst 2960 1Gbit switch.
Virtual Machines and Containers are instatiated in internal overlay networks. These instances can gain acces to external - public network using floating ips. This is realized using VXLANs and the LInux Network Utilities by means of Linux Bridge Agent.
