Kostas Papanikitas

Konstantinos Papanikitas is currently a software engineer and PHD student in NAM group in the University of Patras, Greece. He holds a diploma since 2005 from the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the National Technical University of Athens, a Master of Science degree since 2007 in Renewable Energy Sources from the National Technical University of Athens and currently he performs his PHD studies at the University of Patras. His PHD is in the area of social networks and p2p systems. He has participated in the Vital++ ICT project (www.ict-vitalpp.upatras.gr) dealing with the software development of the vital++ platform. In the past he was employed by Ubitech LTD and the Research department of the Greek Army. His main interests are around p2p live streaming and VoD, social networks, databases, software engineering, web development and renewable energy sources. His software development skills include Java, Python, C, C#, PHP, ASP.NET, JavaScript, MySQL and SQL Server.
