Short Bio

Athanasios Christakidis received his degree of Electrical Engineer in 2004 and his PhD in the field of distributed network systems in 2010 from the University of Patras, Greece. He has participated in various ICT projects and has been a co-author in a number of papers since 2004 in the areas of P2P systems. His current work involves further research in distributed video streaming, content distribution networks and distributed storage systems as well as the development of distributed algorithms towards the realization of an actual P2P client.
